In addition, the name of the website you accessed, the file retrieved, the date and time of the access, the amount of data transferred and notification of the successful access and browser type, along with the version, the operating system, the so-called referrer URL (the previously visited page) and the requesting provider are also saved in the log file. We only collect technical information of this nature for the purposes of the security of our technical infrastructure and so that you can view the website correctly (art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR).

We host our web servers at webgo GmbH, Wandsbeker Zollstr. 95, 22041 Hamburg. This collaboration is based on an order processing contract withwebgo GmbH.

So as to uniformly display fonts, our website uses so-called web fonts, which are provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (Google). When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly. The use of Google web fonts is in the interests of a consistent and attractive presentation of our online offerings. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR. If your browser does not support web fonts, a default font will be used by your computer. Further information about Google web fonts can be found at: and in Google’s Privacy Policy:

C. Data processing as part of an application

You can find details about the scope and purpose of data processing within the context of your application in the relevant recruitment portal.

D. Social media and fan pages

We operate on several online platforms and social networks in order to interact with potential or existing customers or talents, to exchange ideas with interested parties and users, or to advertise offers and services. This encompasses the following providers:

Provider Details about the provider & data protection
Facebook, Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland
Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA
LinkedIn, LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland
XING, XING AG, Dammtorstraße 29-32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany

Please note that in the event of interaction via the aforementioned media, data may also be processed outside the area of the European Union, although the providers who are certified under the Privacy Shield have committed to comply with EU data protection standards. Furthermore, user data are generally processed for market research and advertising purposes. Thus, for example, user profiles can be created from the user behaviour and the associated user interests. The user profiles can in turn be used, for example, to display advertisements that presumably correspond to the interests of the users, both within and outside of the platforms.

We operate our fan pages (e.g., on Facebook) on a so-called joint responsibility basis with the provider. As part of the interaction via our fan page, we receive statistical data (from Facebook) about the use of our fan pages. These include, e.g., information about interactions, likes, comments or summarised information and statistics (e.g., about the age or background of our followers) that help us to learn something about the interactions with our site. For more information on the type and scope of these statistics, please refer, in relation to Facebook, to the Facebook page statistics information  as well as to the relevant responsibilities in the Facebook page insights supplement. The legal basis for this data processing is art. 6 para. (1) clause 1 (f) GDPR.

We have no influence on data processed by the provider (e.g., Facebook) on its own responsibility according to Facebook’s own terms of use. We would like to point out that when you visit the fan page, data about your usage of Facebook and the fan page is transferred to Facebook. You can find more information on this in the above-mentioned data protection information from Facebook.

Insofar as we hold personal data about you from operating the fan page, you have the rights specified in this Data Protection Information in that regard. If you also want to assert rights against Facebook, you can contact Facebook directly via this link. Facebook knows the details of how the fan page is operated from a technical perspective and is acquainted with the associated data processing as well as the specific purposes of the data processing, and it can implement appropriate measures if you exercise your rights.

E. Use of the contact form

We use contact functions on our website to communicate with our customers and interested parties and to answer your concerns and queries. We process the queries and information addressed to us in this connection in order to deal with your query and contact you (art. 6 para. 1 (b) GDPR). We store your data for the duration of the contractual relationship (e.g., client) that results from the contact. If you are not (and will not be) a client or applicant, we will delete your data no later than 6 months after the last contact with you. Furthermore, we will store the communication at the longest until we are asked to delete it. The provision of personal data is neither required by law nor contractually prescribed. However, it will not be possible to process your query without this information being provided.

F. Your rights

You have the right to request confirmation from us at any time as to whether we process your personal data, and a right to access information about this personal data. In addition, you have the right to rectification, to erasure, and to restriction of the data processing, as well as the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data, or to revoke the consent to data processing at any time or to request the portability of data. Please send all requests for information, access enquiries, or revocations of or objections to data processing by email to or to our Data Protection Officer. In addition, you have the right to contact a supervisory authority in the event of data protection violations.

Notes on the special right to object

You have the right, pursuant to art. 21 GDPR, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to object, at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you that is undertaken, among other things, on the basis of art. 6 para. 1 (e) or (f) GDPR. We will cease processing your personal data, unless we can establish compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or if the processing serves to enforce, pursue or defend legal claims. If you would like to exercise your right to object, it is sufficient to send an email to or to our Data Protection Officer.
