C. Data processing as part of an application
You can find details about the scope and purpose of data processing within the context of your application in the relevant recruitment portal.
D. Social media and fan pages
We operate on several online platforms and social networks in order to interact with potential or existing customers or talents, to exchange ideas with interested parties and users, or to advertise offers and services. This encompasses the following providers:
|Provider||Details about the provider & data protection|
|Facebook, Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland||https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy|
|Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA||http://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/|
|LinkedIn, LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland||https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out|
|XING, XING AG, Dammtorstraße 29-32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany||https://privacy.xing.com/de/datenschutzerklaerung|
Please note that in the event of interaction via the aforementioned media, data may also be processed outside the area of the European Union, although the providers who are certified under the Privacy Shield have committed to comply with EU data protection standards. Furthermore, user data are generally processed for market research and advertising purposes. Thus, for example, user profiles can be created from the user behaviour and the associated user interests. The user profiles can in turn be used, for example, to display advertisements that presumably correspond to the interests of the users, both within and outside of the platforms.
We operate our fan pages (e.g., on Facebook) on a so-called joint responsibility basis with the provider. As part of the interaction via our fan page, we receive statistical data (from Facebook) about the use of our fan pages. These include, e.g., information about interactions, likes, comments or summarised information and statistics (e.g., about the age or background of our followers) that help us to learn something about the interactions with our site. For more information on the type and scope of these statistics, please refer, in relation to Facebook, to the Facebook page statistics information as well as to the relevant responsibilities in the Facebook page insights supplement. The legal basis for this data processing is art. 6 para. (1) clause 1 (f) GDPR.
Insofar as we hold personal data about you from operating the fan page, you have the rights specified in this Data Protection Information in that regard. If you also want to assert rights against Facebook, you can contact Facebook directly via this link. Facebook knows the details of how the fan page is operated from a technical perspective and is acquainted with the associated data processing as well as the specific purposes of the data processing, and it can implement appropriate measures if you exercise your rights.
E. Use of the contact form
We use contact functions on our website to communicate with our customers and interested parties and to answer your concerns and queries. We process the queries and information addressed to us in this connection in order to deal with your query and contact you (art. 6 para. 1 (b) GDPR). We store your data for the duration of the contractual relationship (e.g., client) that results from the contact. If you are not (and will not be) a client or applicant, we will delete your data no later than 6 months after the last contact with you. Furthermore, we will store the communication at the longest until we are asked to delete it. The provision of personal data is neither required by law nor contractually prescribed. However, it will not be possible to process your query without this information being provided.
F. Your rights
You have the right to request confirmation from us at any time as to whether we process your personal data, and a right to access information about this personal data. In addition, you have the right to rectification, to erasure, and to restriction of the data processing, as well as the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data, or to revoke the consent to data processing at any time or to request the portability of data. Please send all requests for information, access enquiries, or revocations of or objections to data processing by email to email@example.com or to our Data Protection Officer. In addition, you have the right to contact a supervisory authority in the event of data protection violations.
|You have the right, pursuant to art. 21 GDPR, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to object, at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you that is undertaken, among other things, on the basis of art. 6 para. 1 (e) or (f) GDPR. We will cease processing your personal data, unless we can establish compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or if the processing serves to enforce, pursue or defend legal claims. If you would like to exercise your right to object, it is sufficient to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or to our Data Protection Officer.|
